Radical right and far-right political parties in Europe made significant electoral gains in the last years. Some expect this trend to continue or even accelerate in 2025.

These political movements are diverse, a number are outright antisemitic, authoritarian and racist. Yet they all have one thing in common: they want to radically limit access to asylum and generally restrict migration.

What should drive us, as European Jews, to stand in solidarity with displaced people? And what can we do to oppose the anti-refugee and xenophobic influence of the populist right – even when some of these groups may seek to convince us that they are ‘kosher’?
