Grassroots activism

Overview

Want to take action and join our movement for a more compassionate asylum system? We’re building a grassroots activist network and need your help.

By volunteering, you can support our mission, bringing a Jewish-values led approach to welcoming refugees, and challenging the racism that they face, to politicians and decision makers. You’ll also ensure that a strong, positive Jewish voice is heard both locally in your constituency and nationally.

What could taking part involve?

You’ll join our committed team of campaigners, working together to fight for a UK where refugees can thrive, free from racism.

You could:

  • Bring the Jewish case for a fairer asylum system to your MP or local Council
  • Work with us to build a local movement in your synagogue or constituency
  • Join with others and campaign to become a Borough or City of Sanctuary
  • our office team with our national-level advocacy

You’ll get resources and training, and dedicated support and advice with your campaigning. Whether you can give a few hours a week, volunteer once a month, or a couple of times a year, your time and support will make a huge difference.
