Rabbis from across the UK Jewish community show Succot support for refugees

Rabbi Joseph Dweck, Senior Rabbi at the S&P Sephardi Community

Rabbis from across the UK Jewish community have joined with HIAS+JCORE for a new series of videos, which draw connections between the festival of Succot and the need to help refugees and people seeking asylum.

The series sought to use Succot, a festival of welcome, as an opportunity to be positive about the contribution refugees can make to our society, and to highlight the need to support those fleeing persecution, discrimination and destitution.

We’re delighted and encouraged that Rabbis from five denominations featured in the videos, which you can watch in full below.
